Join Helen Maurene Cooper on March 16th, 6-9pm to celebrate the release of her new book Paint & Polish: Cultural Economy and Visual Culture from the West Side (Onomatopee, 2017) on Thursday, March 16th at Reunion Chicago, 2557 W North Ave. Cooper and West Side nail artists Jackee Blue, Glynnus Alexander and Yara Fernandez will participate in a discussion moderated by contributing essayists Ryan Blocker and Roula Seikaly.

Two Limited edition signed giclee prints and one open edition signed poster print by Morgan Sims are currently on display at the Intelligensia Cafe inside Plum Market at 1233 N Wells St in Old Town Chicago.

James Greco has a painting in the exhibiton “If You Stay Busy You Have No Time To Be Unhappy” opening February 18 at the Tucson Museum of Contemporary Art, through May 28.

Grey James' painting "Untitled (Two Things That Won't Help You Now)" has been acquired for the permanent collection of the Leslie Lohman Museum of Gay and Lesbian Art in New York, and is included in their current exhibition "Expanded Visions" through May 21, 2017.

Shane Guffogg has a traveling exhibition titled "The Observer is the Observed" now open at the Museum of Modern Art Baku, Baku, Azerbijian, The Pushkin Museum, Moscow, Russia, and traveling to the Palais de Tokyo, Paris, France. Previous venue was the Academy of Fine Arts Museum St. Petersburg, Russia.
